Another Missionary for our Family

Our Granddaughter Alyssa got her mission call to Auckland, New Zealand. We are so happy and excited for her. We will miss seeing her as she enters the Missionary Training Center before we get home.

Alyssa will make a wonderful missionary.

Elder and Sister Jackson call BINGO for the Broad Acres Nursing Home. Sister Jackson made scarves for all the ladies that attend the BINGO games. We had pens for the gentlemen. It was a day where everyone was a winner and the ladies all left the games with their choice of one of the scarves shown below. We can’t show you the cute ladies with their scarves but these photos show the fun colors. She is busy making scarves for the Sisters in the Branch for Valentines Day . . . shhhhhh, don’t tell.

January 2013 Weather

This year is very different from last year. We didn’t realize how good we had it. We shared some snow scenes with our last update. Here are some other things we have seen.

We slid off the road, but some wonderful gentlemen helped us out.
