Quilts for the Sisters

The Sisters have been providing service helping Sandy Fischer make quilts for families to have for emergencies and for rest homes in the area. Sandy also had them cut quilt squares and then she made quilt tops for a quilt for each Sister. We had a branch activity to tie the quilts. The results are below.

District Meetings in Towanda and Mansfield for August

The Zone Leaders joined us for our District Meeting last week in Towanda. We love learning from these amazing missionaries.

Sights we see in Pennsylvania

We spend a lot of time driving. Many of our appointments are over an hour away. We have been putting on about 3,000 miles a month on our car. The up side of this is the beautiful country side and interesting sights.

We enjoy the buggy's and horses on the roads.

They do a lot of drilling for gas in this area. It is amazing to watch.

We took the Sisters to the Stony Fork Store for spices and baking supplies.

It is a fun place to come. Great prices and incredible selection.

August 2013 Arrives in Style

The Branch is pretty much cutting out activities for the month so that people can spend time with family, get ready for school, and basically regroup!

We have had fun giving service with the Sister Missionaries and making quilts for babies, rest homes, emergencies, etc. Sandy Fischer is the genius behind the project.
